Church & Ministry

  • 1.1 How to Start a Healing Ministry
From the assertion of Jesus in John 14:12 and Luke 4:18, we cannot help but infer that the “works” our Lord was referring to are healing and deliverance for our spirit, soul and body. In other words, if we believe in Jesus, our ministry ought to be advocating healing to the total person. In this App Session, we want to share with you the Biblical basis to pray for healing, the motivation to serve in this ministry and how to actually start one.
  • 1.2 Cultivating a Culture of Healing: Beyond Ministry
Cultivating a culture of healing transforms the concept of healing from a singular ministry to an all-encompassing cultural paradigm. In this workshop, Pastor Deborah, from Cornerstone Community Church, will delve into the transformative power of shifting the focus from the isolated and limited efforts of a healing ministry to a holistic approach where healing is integrated into the corporate church.
  • 1.3 The Church in the Community
What does it take to pastor the neighborhood community and to keep it going? Living Sanctuary Brethren Church shares their experience starting a heartlands outreach and watching it grow as the Church blesses the community and carries forth the gospel with deeds of kindness. Come on a journey with Ps Lawrence Chua at he shares his lessons learned through the years, and the core values that his team adheres to as they invest in relationships with people in the community outside the church.
  • 1.4 Engage Gen Z with Authenticity!
Gen Z - a generation that craves authenticity like never before. Learn how to speak their language, understand their values, and disciple them in a way that truly resonates.
  • 1.5 Evangelising to Today's Children
In the last days, God is pouring out His Spirit on all flesh. A time has come where God is not raising up a one-man ministry, but a generation from within the church and the community. As time passes, culture changes. Therefore, techniques must change in order to share the gospel of Jesus Christ in a way that is relevant to the generation. Come and learn how we can reach and disciple an emerging generation that will fear, love and serve the Lord, proclaiming His works from one generation to another.
  • 1.6 Inclusive Sunday School
The Inclusive Sunday School session introduces how we can transform our Sunday Schools, so that children of all abilities can be welcomed and discipled. We will explore what disability inclusion means in the context of a Sunday School, and reimagine what it can look like for the Church.
