FAQs
Lift Conference is primarily designed for pastors, leaders, and full-time church staff. However, we recognize that in smaller churches, lay leaders often serve as ministry overseers (e.g., children's church, worship ministry, tech and IT, volunteer management, pastoral counselling) and would benefit from the conference as they understand the nuances of church work.
For those in the marketplace, Lift Conference may be less relevant unless you are already serving in a church leadership capacity.
Option 1 - You’re welcome to join us for the full conference from 25 to 26 September if you can!
Option 2 - If you’re time-pressed, you can choose to attend the APCCS X FOPx collab events only ie. Senior Pastors & Youth Pastors Lunch Roundtable happening on Thu 26 Sep from 12.30pm-2pm, followed by an App session specific to Youth pastors/ directors/ ministry heads 2pm-3.30pm on the same day.
With either option, please purchase a conference ticket for a preferred fee of S$35, and we'll see you there!
Yes, you will need to pay the full conference fee even if you dip in and out of the conference. We have deliberately kept the fee low so as to keep the content of the conference affordable to most.
The Conference fee covers attendance to the full program from 25 to 26 September, including all meals and tea breaks.
No, the conference is not live-streamed.
You can check the list of member churches on the APCCS website.
App sessions are shorthand for “Application Sessions”. Think of them as conference workshops, where you can interact with the Session speaker and other participants in a smaller setting.
There are a total of 7 app sessions running concurrently each day during the app session slot (ie 2pm on Day one and Day two). You can go for one session per day.
While we have required pre-session sign up in previous years, we will not be doing that for Lift Conference 2024. If you are a participant, you can simply head to an app session and grab an available seat.
The plenary sessions will be recorded and released only quite a few months later. The app sessions are all not recorded.
The content of Lift Conference pertains to issues and ways of working that would be relevant mostly to church pastors, leaders and staff in Singapore. We may consider including more generalised content for future conferences.
Yes, registration deadline is Thursday 5 September, just so that the organising team has the margin to tweak any catering, logistical and communication duties. Any registration after 5 September will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
We do not have any evening meetings for Lift Conference 2024.
We would love for you to volunteer, as we have both general roles (e.g. ushering) and specific roles (e.g. photographer). Please let us know at mail@apccs.org how you might like to get involved.
